Sunday, February 5, 2012. I have finished the quilt, all hand stitched, many hours of work. The quilt travelled across Australia over Christmas while I visited family in Perth. I found the navy material in an op shop while there. It was perfect to bring it all together. I backed the quilt with a maroon sheet which also acted as the edging. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the finished quilt. I will have to get my daughter to take one for me and post it later.

Friday, November 4, 2011. These last days I have been sewing a new project and today I want to share it with you. I did this bag in a class that I took lately, I am charmed with the final result. To do this bag, we need a sewing machine, approximately 3 to 4 meters of fabric and a clothesline. Then, all these clothelines wrapped by fabric are sewed together.
